Founded in 1941, the YMC is a friendly and progressive club with a varied programme of meets and social events throughout the year. Membership is open to all and new members are always welcome. If you would like to come along on one of our meets or to find out more about becoming a member just contact our membership Co-ordinators using the form on the our contact page. The Club owns a climbing hut in the Coppermines Valley, Coniston, in the Lake District providing accommodation for members, groups and guests. The meets programme comprises week-day evening and weekend climbs, walks and camping or hut trips, being part of the club is a great way to get outdoors and meet fellow walkers and climbers.
